De Carro Armato M13/40 Italy’s was tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog de belangrijkste tank in het Italiaanse leger. De tank wer gekenmerkt door een geklonken constructie en relatief kleine loopwielen op bladveren. Een 47mm kanon was geplaatst in een eerste ooit hydraulisch bediende koepel in een Italiaanse tank. De M13/40 werd aangedreven door een 125 pk V8-vloeistofgekoelde dieselmotor die een topsnelheid van 30 km/u produceerde. Van juli 1940 tot en met 1943 werden ongeveer 800 eenheden gebouwd. Ze vochten vooral samen met het Duitse Afrikaanse Corps aan het Noord-Afrikaanse front. This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit model. Length: 143mm. The unique riveted form of this tank is faithfully reproduced. Easy to connect assembly type tracks included. The suspension features a highly realistic finish. Metal parts for the gun barrel and photo-etched parts for the anti-aircraft gun sight etc are included. Other highlights of this model are its range of tools and radiator cap. A standing figure, a sitting tank crewman figure, 3 kinds of decals for the North African front, and a set of badges of rank are included.
